Onion Setsʼ Yield and Quality as Affected by Seed Rate of Two Onion (Allium cepa L.) Cultivars

Onion bulb crop production using sets as planting material has been increasing for the last decade in response to high demand and because of their yielding capacity adaptability continuously changing growing environment. The objective this experiment, therefore, was investigate effect seed rate on yield quality onion setsas a highly demanded material. Treatments comprised two cultivars (Kamlin Saggai) three rates (60,120 180 kg/ha.). They were arranged split plot design with replications. Cultivars themain plots subplots.
